The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to show you what data we process, why we process it and what we do with it. Being fully aware that your personal information belongs to you, we do our best to store it securely. We do not provide information to third parties without informing you.

www.egealogistics.ro (or “Site”) is a presentation site of SC EGEA LOGISTICS SRL, headquartered in Otopeni, Calea Bucureștilor, no. 39, Ilfov County, registered in the Trade Register under number J23/ 1937/ 2011, having CUI RO 23094225, hereinafter referred to as “THE COMPANY”.

According to Law no. 677/2001 and Regulation (EU) 679/2016 (applicable in Romania from May 25, 2018), “THE COMPANY” is a personal data controller.
"GDPR" means Regulation (EU) 679/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject").
An identifiable natural person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifying element, such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more many specific elements, specific to his physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
"COMPANY" may change this Privacy Policy at any time. All updates and changes to this Policy are valid immediately upon notification, which we will make by posting on the site and/ or e-mail notification.

What information do we collect?

Information you provide to us voluntarily

When you use the contact form, when you contact us by phone or e-mail or communicate with us in any way, you voluntarily give us the information we process. This information includes your first name, last name, city, e-mail address and/ or telephone number.
By providing us with this information, we keep it secure and confidential in our database. We do not disclose or transfer information to third parties.

 

Information that we collect automatically
When you browse our site, we may collect information about your visit to the site. This information may include your IP address, operating system, browser, browsing activity, and other information about how you interacted with the site. What is the legal basis for which we collect?

With regard to the data you provide us voluntarily by filling in and sending the forms or by contacting us in any way, the legal basis is "taking measures at the request of the data subject before concluding a contract" (art. 5 para. 2 letter (a) of Law No. 677/2001) and “to take steps at the request of the data subject before concluding a contract” (Article 6 paragraph (1) letter b of Regulation (EU) 679/2016).
Both according to current legislation and according to GDPR (applicable from May 25, 2018), your consent is not required if the processing is necessary to carry out procedures for concluding a contract, fulfilling a legal obligation or legitimate interest.
Regarding the data that we collect automatically through the use of cookies or other similar technologies, the basis for processing is consent. Once you access the site, you validly give your consent to the processing.

 

For what purposes do we collect data?

  • to provide and improve the services we offer (real estate services);
  • to take the necessary steps to conclude a contract;
  • to answer your questions and requests;
  • to defend ourselves against cyber attacks;
  • for marketing activities, but only if you have given your prior consent.

 

How long do we store the data?

We store personal data only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes, but not more than 10 years from the last visit to the site or the last interaction with us.

 

To whom do we disclose your information?

The Parties, namely "THE COMPANY" and its Customers agree that, in the execution of the partnership contract, each Party shall disclose personal data to the other Party, as follows:
a) "THE COMPANY" will disclose to the Customer personal data relating to the Beneficiaries to whom the Customer will sell or rent real estate (land, real estate). Such data consists of: name, CNP, telephone, e-mail address and location.
b) The Parties agree that the Customer shall not in any circumstances disclose to "THE COMPANY" other personal data relating to the Beneficiaries, in particular special categories of personal data, including, but not limited to, data concerning their health.
c) Each Party shall disclose to the other Party personal data concerning the Beneficiaries or their representatives responsible for the performance of this Agreement. These data consist of: identification data, location, telephone number, email address of the beneficiaries.
Where required by law, each Party that discloses information about the Beneficiaries shall provide an information note to the data subjects, informing them accordingly of the processing of their personal data carried out in connection with this contract.

We will not disclose your information to third parties, to be used for their own marketing or commercial purposes. However, we may disclose your information to the following entities:

  • Service providers. We may disclose your information to other companies that provide services to us and act as proxies, such as companies that assist us with billing or send e-mails on our behalf. These entities are selected with particular care to ensure that they meet the specific requirements for the protection of personal data. These entities have a limited ability to use your information for purposes other than providing us with services;
  • Courts, prosecutor's offices or other public authorities to comply with the law or in response to a mandatory legal procedure (such as a search warrant or a court decision);
  • To other parties with your consent or to your instructions. In addition to the disclosures described in this Privacy Policy, we may disclose information to third parties to whom you consent or request us to make such disclosure.

Do we transfer data to third countries?

Currently, we do not transfer your data to countries outside the European Union. If we change the policy, we will inform you accordingly, present the related guarantees and ask for your consent.

 

What are your rights?

  • The right to withdraw consent. If the processing is based on consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time and free of charge by sending an e-mail to office@egealogistics.ro with the subject "Withdrawal of consent".
  • The right to submit a complaint to a supervisory authority;
  • The right to go to court;
  • Right of access - you have the right to obtain from us a confirmation that personal data concerning you are processed or not and, if so, you have the right to access those data.
  • The right to rectification - you have the right to obtain from us, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you. Considering the purposes for which the data were processed, you have the right to obtain the completion of personal data that are incomplete, including by providing an additional statement.
  • Right to erasure of data ("right to be forgotten") - in situations where the data are no longer necessary for the purpose, the consent has been withdrawn and there is no other legal basis for processing, you oppose the processing and there are no legitimate reasons prevail in terms of processing or personal data have been processed illegally, you have the right to obtain the deletion of data concerning you without undue delay.
  • Right to restrict processing - you have the right to obtain from us the restriction of processing if one of the following cases applies:
    1. you challenge the accuracy of the data, for a period that allows us to verify the accuracy of the data;
    2. the processing is illegal, and you oppose the deletion of personal data, instead requesting the restriction of their use;
    3. we no longer need personal data for the purpose of processing, but you request it from us in order to establish, exercise or defend a right in court;
    4. you have objected to the processing in accordance with Article 21 (1) of the GDPR, for the period of time in which it is verified whether our legitimate rights prevail over your rights.
  • The right to data portability - you have the right to receive personal data concerning you and which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and automatically readable format and you have the right to transmit this data to another operator, without obstacles on our part, if:
    1. processing is based on consent pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) or Article 9 (2) (a) of the GDPR or a contract pursuant to Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR; and
    2. the processing is performed by automatic means.
  • The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automatic processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly affects you to a significant extent. You do not have this right if the decision:
    1. is required for the conclusion or performance of a contract between you and a data controller;
    2. is authorized by Union or national law applicable to the controller and which also provides for appropriate measures to protect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of the data subject; or
    3. it is based on your explicit consent.

Please remember the following:

  • Time period: We will try to respond to your request within 30 days. However, the time limit may be extended for specific reasons related to the specific legal right or complexity of your application.
  • Restricting access: In certain situations, we may not be able to give you access to all or some of your personal data due to legal provisions. If we deny your request for access, we will inform you of the reason for the refusal.
  • Impossibility to identify yourself. In some cases, we may not be able to search for your personal information because of the identifiers you provide in your request. An example of personal data that we cannot consult when you provide us with your name and e-mail address is the data collected through cookies by the browser.
    In such cases, if we are unable to identify you as the data subject, we are unable to comply with your request, unless you provide additional identification information.
